Abandoned Warehouses, Monday afternoon

Just because the weather was cooling down was no reason to stay indoors. At least as far as Ringo was concerned. That was doubly true since she'd spent a good chunk of the weekend working on her drone. The past three or four months of watching drone repair videos and occasionally learning some tricks from Jalian meant that Ringo had finally figured out how to get her drone to do what she wanted.

She hoped.

She'd replaced all the motors with AT grade gear. Which had basically torn the original plastic rotors apart since they couldn't handle that much power. Replacing those had led to the discovery of another part of the cheap plastic drone that wasn't really up to what she wanted, and so on. But now she basically had it doing what she wanted, and had even cobbled together an automated control package (basically copying code she didn't really understand from the internet and sticking it together until it sort of worked, maybe) so that the thing could hover in place and keep its camera pointed at her without her needing to babysit the remote the whole time.

Which meant that in addition to the relatively common high-pitched whine and whoops of excitement bouncing around between the old abandoned warehouses, there was another high-pitched whine coming from overhead as the drone mostly did what Ringo had hoped it would. Sure, it drifted a bit in the wind, and sometimes the camera would lose her and she'd have to take a break and recalibrate it when she noticed, but it was working!

Which explained why the smile on her face as she flipped and twisted through the air was even bigger than it usually was when she got out to do some AirTrek.

[ooc: Open if anyone's interested!]
