There was something about the stench of money that put the island off; it needed something cleaner, something... nicer. Sweeter. And so, with a long-suffering sigh in the way of a small storm that passed within five minutes, it up and vanished...
... and reappeared in the middle of
Dolphin Bay. There was a fluttering of wings as a series of small, water-dwelling dinosaurs took up to the sky, scattering; the Causeway stretched out and dropped right at the edge of a large promenade in
Sauropolis. The people and dinosaurs ashore paused for a moment, caught in the middle of their daily routines - and then, but for a curious raptor or two, they returned to it.
The Dinosaur Olympics would resume on Monday. They all had more important places to be.
[[ and we are on dinotopia! there will be another post on Monday for dinosaur sports-watching. ]]
