Golf Cart Chauffeurs, outside the campus gates

Just outside the campus gates were a number of golf carts and - for some reason that GOB wasn't going to ask about - a canoe. They were ready to take a bunch of annoying kids who were probably going to get some action tonight down to Town Hall for a stupid prom. Oh, boy, that sounded like fun. Driving kids around. Fraser has never driven a golf car before. So, currently, he's trying to get the controls of the cart down before someone picks him as chaffeur.

"Sleds would've been more practical and gas efficient," he mutters.

"Good evening, Miss Gilmore," Fraser says, ignoring the golf cart for now. "And I don't mind at all. Do you have a specific itinerary for the evening?"

"Just to city hall, I guess," Anakin said. He looked back at Rory. "Unless you want to go on a golfcart tour of the town or something?"

Fraser gestures for Anakin and Rory to climb aboard the golf cart.

"Straight to town hall it is. I plan on your riding being smooth and effortless. Climb aboard."

Anakin held out his hand to help Rory into the golf cart. Because tripping would be bad.

Anakin climbed in next to her with a grin.

He was only a little twitchy about not driving himself.

Fraser climbs in after Anakin and Rory are seated. He gets the keys out and turns the golf cart on.

"And off we go." And, of course, meaning to go forward, he goes in reverse. Oops.

He was staring very hard at the back of Fraser's head, his hands white-knuckling the pole he had grabbed onto.

"Terribly sorry about that," Fraser apologizes. "I haven't driven a vehicle such as this in quite awhile."

Fraser tries again. This time, they go forward albeit in stutter steps.

"The controls to this vehicle are really quite confusing."

"Um, they're like a car. Just put us in drive," Rory said helpfully, putting a hand on Anakin's knee and shooting him a look.

Anakin mouthed, "I could fix this," complete with dramatic head nodding and eye rolling in Fraser's direction.
