Éponine always felt a little bit, uncomfortably, like someone scanning the crowd for a likely mark when a new semester rolled around and she put the NOW HIRING sign up in the window. But it was a practical consideration, wasn't it? She needed people to take on some of the duties around the post office, other people could use the money, it was all perfectly fine.
Besides, she wasn't tricking people into the job, or making them do it whether they wanted to or not; she wasn't her father.
That actually made her feel a bit better about it.
Which was a good thing, since it meant she could devote more of her attention to cleaning up the very large and inexplicable pile of desk fans, clipboards, coffee mugs, and used TV dinner trays that had just been here in the back room when she got in this morning. What was all of this even for? Did someone think they could build things out of this pile of junk?
[OOC: No OCD, open, someone please help me I still cannot stop playing Fallout 4.]
eponine thenardier,
