Rey's face was smudged with oil and she was very tired, but feeling pretty accomplished.

And relatively sure she could handle helping someone monstery out without a fight. That was more on them than her.

"So apparently Pepto?" Bo said as she stumbled in looking kind of like she wanted to hurl, largely because she in fact wanted to hurl. "Not actually a cure for alien babies."

Even for people who could usually cure almost anything by sucking the lifeforce out of somebody's face-among-other-anatomical-options. Might've helped if she'd tried sucking anything besides the face of an alien babydaddy, of course.

She glanced to the extraction chamber. "It looks like you can go in whenever, if you're ready to get rid of the parasite."

"Nope, I'm lucky enough to be brood-free," Cosima confirmed. She gave Bo quick instructions for the process and walked her to the apparatus. "If it hurts, scream."

With that cheery thought, she left Bo to be de-aliened.

Cosima was flying on Red Bull and adrenaline by this point. It hadn't been easy, but they had done it, and she was proud to be there.

She had been so engrossed in her work she hadn't noticed the island taking off. She was going to have a surprise coming when she looked out the window.

"Honestly?" Cosima said, blinking. "This is going to sound awful, but I'm fine. It feels great to be able to help people like this. All I need is a shower and a nap once the Red Bull wears off."

"Honestly, that doesn't sound bad at all," Jessica said. "If we did all this and people were dying and you still felt good about it, that would be different. I was asking mostly about the fact that you're still awake."
