"I teach conspiracy theories," Wash replied. "It's just trolling Reddit and trying not to lose all faith in humanity."

"But you gotta deal with kids," he said. "Kids are the worst."

"They're not that bad." Kind of. "Only some of them are assholes."

"That's more than enough to keep me away from teaching," York said. "Want a beer? I have a cooler behind the cash register."

Wash sighed. "Yes. Yes, I'd like a beer."

York smiled. "You can walk over there and get it yourself."

Wash rolled his eyes and went back to get a beer for himself. And none for York.

"Enjoying your new employment?"

York shrugged. "Not used to the whole straight and narrow thing yet."
