Chilly Boulder, Monday lunchtime
Jessica needed to take a break from her final calculations. She was going to be attempting amateur inter dimensional travel very soon so she was working way too hard. Because of that, lunchtime ice cream sounded wonderful.
When she got to the counter, she found herself in a pretty lengthy conversation with the girl working there. Against her general nature when it came to that kind of stuff, Jessica was just about to make a pass when the girl made an ice cream suggestion: add pork rinds. This halted any possible offers to make out, of course, but she was cute enough that Jessica was willing to give it a chance.
She got her pork rind-laced ice cream. She sat down. She started to eat. "Oh god why would anyone do that?" she asked pretty much right away. Jessica was not a fan of this flavor combination.
