Jessica was not spending today by the portal generator. Nope, she was on the phone. Portalocity had sent her a very emphatic notice to stop tearing holes in space and time for experimentation. She decided to respond.
"Look, you've told me countless times that you can't or won't travel to my Earth.... Sure, sure. Can't find it, gotcha. That means you're not going there and if you're not going there, you're rejecting any claims to travel to there.... Oh yeah? You'll get your lawyers? Well guess what, I've got lawyers, too!"
She didn't have lawyers. Stark had lawyers, though, right? Since it was being done with Stark money in a Stark building, she would be fine. At the very least, the lawyers could tie things up enough to let her work.
