Selkie Peak, Early Thursday Afternoon
There were many different ways to deal with the pollen that was currently saturating the air and driving people to the brink of madness. For Kathy and Edward, today's method involved ropes, complicated knots, and full-body harnesses.
Oh, and also a mountain. Obviously.
Ms. Parker had been happy to handwavily loan the safety equipment necessary for Kathy and Edward to rappel down Selkie peak. And since today was also the lunar New Year, Kathy had made plenty of jeon after class and packed it so they'd have something to eat when they got hungry. She wasn't sure if Edward had ever had any Korean cuisine before, but it was hard to go wrong with veggies and sausage skewered and fried, right?
Kathy bounced a little on her heels, peeking over the edge. If flinging themselves off the side of the peak didn't help them burn through some of this excess energy, maybe they could end their outing with a little freerunning back through town.
