It had all started innocently enough. Edward had gone for another one of his walks, attempting to see what nooks and crannies he could get into with a bit of creative thinking and a bit of wanderlust. That walk had ended once he'd noticed something very odd indeed - a pillow, just hangin' 'round off the branches of a tree.
Soon, he had found more. He'd been in the process of taking some items for his own convenience - an extra pillow, a blanket, a pair of boots, a few other garments - when an Idea had struck him. After all, the garden looked largely abandoned, and if the plants produced these items themselves, strange yet evident as it was, well, no one would miss anything for long, would they?
... to make a long story short, Edward had now found himself a spot by the side of the road, a table, and a basket full of-- well.
"Ladies and gents! Clothes! Clothes for the discerning gentleman, clothes for the fashion-conscious lady of fine tastes! Modern shirts! Classic trousers! Aye, I've got anything for any man or woman, just four-- no, three dollars a piece! And if that's not to your liking, how's about a pair of boots for only four dollars? Natural-made, like!"
Look, if you had the gift of gab and no letters, it was always best to let your talents do the work.
