"You ready, got your flowers?" Kenzi checked and looped her arm through Cecil's at the back of the theater. "God, you look gorgeous! Best Man, you ready? Flower Girl, you look adorable."

Cecil grinned and bounced. "You're so pretty!" He fussed over his dress a bit and straightened one of Foucault's wings.

Foucault honked happily.

"This is so fucking stupid," Sparkle muttered under his breath. But he gave Kenzi and Cecil his best smile all the same.

If it looked, on film, like he was specifically aiming the handfuls of rose petals that he was throwing at, say, the backs of their heads? That was all just creative staging or something. Right?

If it looked like Kenzi scowling over her shoulder and making throat-cutting gestures? That was totally some kind of avant garde "thanks for being our awesome flower girl" thing.

"Sparkle!" Cecil gave him a dramatic look and prodded the best man, who thwapped him with a wing. "It's our first wedding!" he whispered. "Behave!"

"Dearly beloved," Raven said, fully committed to her current priest role. "We are gathered here today. . . ."

And then it just went into muttered "peas and carrots" because this would be the part where the camera cut away from the priest entirely to show the bride and groom making googly eyes at each other and possibly shots of the family and friends crying softly into hankies.

Kenzi was beaming gleefully, and waving to people, and making sure the photographer got her good side. Possibly checking out the presents table, yay!

Cecil smiled and tried not to vibrate in place too much. This was his first ever marriage! It was exciting! "We should do this at least once a year!" he whispered to Kenzi.

"Oh my god, yes." Kenzi bounced on her toes, bumping her shoulder with his. "Maybe next year in Atlantic City!"
