She asked this in a neutral tone; in Fandom, it was entirely possible.

Bay knew who they were, though their relationship to Jackson was a bit obscure.

She eyed him and deadpanned, "Wow, I'm totally flattered. Take me back to your room before I swoon."

Never mind that she'd kind of started this entire conversational track.

"Yeah, but -- okay, I didn't imply being with you was punishment, but you have a point," Bay conceded, after a few moments of fidgeting. "Snark rescinded. Any way we can keep the next three minutes or whatever from sucking?"

Jackson glanced at his watch. "It's more like a minute and a half, now. It's doable." Even with his social skills. Or lack thereof. "So... where are you from?"

He was so bad at this. All that time with Lydia had ruined his ability to get to know people.
