April came into work today to find Tino bound to the bar with mistletoe, and although Caritas was a family establishment, April thought it was funny and left him like that.
Look, she wasn't even going to consider the alternative. Gross.

She'd never had absinthe, but a special seemed an excellent reason to try. Also, it might distract her from the mistletoe that had been following her around all night.

April had never had the opportunity to serve absinthe before, so, at a loss for what kind of glass to use, she opted for a tall beer mug, but only filled it halfway. She still looked a little dubious when she handed it over.
"That might be a little much."

She also didn't know exactly what a normal amount of absinthe was. But she figured between the biotics and the fact her body was used to booze, this much probably wouldn't kill her.
She took a swig and made a face. "It's like licorice," she reported. "Really alcoholic licorice."
