It was mostly sunny and still warm, at least for an October day. Basically, perfect weather for a big old group meal in the park. Plenty of food and drink was set up, as was plenty of seating for everyone who might possibly show up

Adam had not stuck around the creepy mansion for longer than absolutely necessary.
So he was here, loading a plate up with food like they didn't have that in Miami or something. But whatever, he was a growing boy still, wasn't he? Plus, it was free. He was going to eat his damn share.

... Huh.
All the scruff was unfamiliar and unlikely (not to mention the clothes), but Isabelle couldn't help staring for a bit at this familiar face. She'd grown up with it for quite a few years now, see.
Staring was probably impolite but she didn't care.

Adam raised his eyebrows, looking amused. His smirk widened. "No," he said, with appreciative onceover, "but I can be anyone you want me to be, trust me."

Isabelle was judging you so much right now, Adam. So much.
"Yeah, I think I'll just get a picture," she said, pulling her phone out. Because taking pictures of familiar-looking strangers was just the thing to do. "You look like someone I know."

This was actually revealing all sort of things about Isabelle and Jace's adopted sibling relationship. Or just mainly that it kind of creeped her out when someone with his face tried to hit on her.
She took the picture to send to Jace, then shook her head. "I don't think so," she said, clearly uninterested and unimpressed. "You don't seem up to my standards. But thanks for the pic. Bye."

Today, Theo could admit that he hadn't had a bad weekend. Dr. Brockton had kept his promise and had been merely a guest and a mostly silent observer. He'd had conversations with Theo that hadn't made Theo feel like he was in a session or anything.
So, it'd been nice and with it coming to an end, he was going to enjoy the last few days of free food and let Dr. Brockton do his thing.

Susan had survived a weekend on Yankee food, but it still wasn't making her less wary of the offerings this morning. She was sticking with tea and toast.

Since Raleigh wasn't about to get them any food, Yancy figured he'd take advantage of the free stuff. He turned up around noon (it was Sunday, he could sleep-in) to gather up a plate full of food while he kept an eye on the place.

"So, you're leaving us today," Isabelle noted as she sidled up to him by the food tables, having gotten a refill on her drink. "How was your brief Fandom experience?"

"Well, I think everyone tries to behave for visits." Considering the pollen... No, they didn't. "Even the island. The whole place will go back to usual as soon as everyone leaves."

He was incorrigible, and totally posing for the picture because why not?
"Because that could be arranged."
