Once Jaina had class over with and had gotten herself settled (...okay, after a few hours of training) after getting back from her trip, she headed on over to the Perk, because it was going to take some caffeine to stay awake till a normal time.
"I'm not sure I've seen you out in the wild before," she greeted Jake as she waited for her drink.
"Hey now," Jake put on a wounded expression. "A man has to eat, you know." A man typically ordered delivery, actually. But details. "And sometimes I just need a good cup of coffee." And sometimes he ended up with a raspberry mocha, completely unintentionally.
"Not bad," Jake shrugged. "Did the three minute dates thing even if the player failed miserably and didn't end up in the duck pond, so... calling it a success."
"It wasn't so bad when it was just meeting random people you might talk to once in a while," Jaina said. "But it also brought out some strange people, and I have thrown drinks in people's faces before."
"Well, yours," Jake had to point out with a smirk. Mostly because while he'd been on the receiving end of many people's wrath, he'd somehow managed to avoid Jaina's. It was actually kind of nice.
"One could argue that we're all supposed to get along and exist in peace and harmony and blah blah blah," Jake shrugged. "Personally, I think that sounds boring."
