The Darling twins were turning eighteen today, and thus crossing the threshold into legal adulthood. "Totally does," Jeremy agreed heartily. He had two classes. (And a workshift, but really now. None of that was much work.) "Think we did pretty good too. I mean you could almost imagine we're home."

Jeremy shrugged, not too bothered by it even though he was thinking about it. "I don't know, maybe whoever runs radio gets them especially made? How much can pencils cost, anyway?"

"I wouldn't want to know most things?" Jeremy offered. "I like knowing just... just enough, you know?"

"I guess," Juliet said. "I mean, if you know too much you'd be all distracted all the time, right? Maybe it's better to know a lot about a few things."
