"Pretty much," Mercy said easily. "It seemed like a fun way to get out and get to talk to people I might otherwise be too shy to talk to on my own."

She laughed and blushed a little. "Lucky me. Thanks. And just why do I get this exception? Not that I'm complaining. You seem like you'd be an interesting person to get to know."

Sia had definitely not planned this and she wasn't entirely happy about it, but that didn't mean she had to make the other people suffer for it. So when she sat down for her first date, she put on a little smile and said, "Good to meet you."
