Theodoric of York, Friday morning
Well, this had been a long time coming. Zayne's hair had been cut when he was drafted, but he was able to use his influence as a Jedi (no, not mind tricks... just fibbing) to keep from getting it buzzed during boot camp. Once his mother and sisters saw him with shorter hair than they had been accustomed to, they started putting on the pressure. (His father got them to agree that Zayne could grow a mustache if he wanted, just like his dad. Zayne had no intention of doing that and felt slightly betrayed by that angle.)
So now, after a tour out in space and before he really needed to do anything in Fandom, Zayne had a day to finally live up to the promises his family made him make.
He walked over to Theodoric of York to get, at long last, a haircut. "You've fought six Jedi Masters and walked away from every single one of those fights," he told himself. "You can do this."
Shortly after he walked inside, his hair was at a respectable length for the first time in a long, long time. It was weird.
