The Boards, Saturday
There was a somewhat disturbing thump thump thump, up on the roof. The sort of thump thump thump that Jono would even be inclined to dismiss as hail before some sort of nasty rainstorm, considering how insufferably hot the weather had been lately. But then he'd peeked out a window, and a green popsicle had smacked up against it at about the same time, making him jump.
"Again with the ice lollies!?"
At least these ones were staying outside, he supposed. Jonothon sighed, shook his head, and then got to work finishing his preparations around the Boards for tomorrow's Showcase. Anyone who wasn't drowning in new kids or being bludgeoned by falling frozen confectionery was welcome to come in to rehearse, as well. Of course.
"Maybe people will be less likely to discount the Showcase as an elaborate attempt at hazing, this way."
