Sure, the welcome picnic was today, but it was also the first Saturday in May. If Dani couldn't be in Louisville, then she was going to bring a small television to the barn so she could watch the Kentucky Derby. It was a good thing she finished her chores early, because she was going to finish a bottle of bourbon by the time the race started.

The Gig was open. Sorry, Dani was a little too tipsy to take anyone riding today, but she makes a great mint julep.
