That might have been a mistake. She realized as she was looking at the script and waiting for the read-through to start that the very first song, which was a solo, was, um. Hers.
No pressure, Quinnie.
"Are we doing 'Science Fiction' as a solo?" she asked, trying to sound like she didn't care.

She was pretty good at feigning confidence. If deep inside she was still nervous about the solo aspect, or worried her voice was a little thin for the song ... well, that was what rehearsal was for.

"This the Original London Cast, not the movie soundtrack, so it's probably pretty different than most of you know -- and actually has Patricia Quinn singing, instead of lip syncing to Richard O'Brien's voice, since he did it for the movie soundtrack. We can play around with vocal stylings some, though, so don't feel it needs to be exactly like either this or the movie."
