So, funny thing about poking at a strobe light without being especially careful about it? It tended to go badly. And... make a bit of a mess of things.
Which meant that Topher's side of the room was... currently a bit of a disaster zone. So rather than taking care of it like a normal person, he'd decided to just bring his laptop and hang out at The Perk instead. Maybe by the time he went back to his room, Dave would have cleaned it up or something?
