After her audition, Petra stopped by the directors' table and told Troy, "I also wanted to let you guys know that if you need any help with the costuming stuff, I'm your girl; I'm pretty handy with a needle and thread...glue gun, bedazzler, whatever. I mean I did it unofficially at the holiday thing, but. Plus I have like five boas I'm willing to loan to the cause." Loan. She wanted them back, people.

Well, obviously, because boas. "That would be awesome, Petra!" Troy enthused. "We're getting a bunch of stuff donated from 'Dite's, but that'd be a big help in terms of fitting and stuff. You... really want this stuff to fit properly."
And, hey, the offer of boas really did reinforce that she knew the show's content, which was all to the better.

"And that... might be even more of a concern," he allowed. "It's been all students auditioning so far, so we may have to... pull back a little. In some aspects." Troy frowned. "I mean, there's only so much you can -- or want to -- sanitise Petey Sci-Fi before you lose the show completely, but... And yeah, someone good with costuming can help -- think you could make things still look really revealing while still hiding... everything?"

Jono was... a little late coming down for the audition. And a bit quiet once he got there. He had his coat with the tall collar on and was more or less huddling down inside of it today.

"Well the case isn't in motion or singing or anything," Freddie said. "And I might have gotten a little distracted in the middle, but I did sit through the whole thing. And while my mom would have a fit, I think I'm good to actually do sound."

Jono turned the case over in his hands, considering for a moment. And then he nodded.
"Your mum isn't on the island," he noted. "And so long as I can trust that you'll be here for tech rehearsals and show nights, I admittedly don't particularly care what she thinks."
Because he was a great influence like that.
"So you'll be up in the booth with Jon, who'll be doing our lighting. Good to have you aboard."

Also not hungover this time.

Well. Probably not, giving what was coming this weekend, but it's not like Troy knew about that.

But here he was.

"Thanks for giving me the chance to see it," he said. "It was... definitely not what I was expecting."

He was tired, that was all.
"I'm amazed there was still room to be surprised after that, mate."

Don't break his heart, Freddie!
"Will that be problematic?"
