At The Outskirts of the Island, Around 11 AM

It took a lot of power to keep something as huge and all-consuming as the Nothing at bay.

So it shouldn't have come as much of a surprise when around eleven in the morning, the forcefield... flickered again. Or rather, there was a distinct twenty-second period where it was simply not there, and the Nothing rushed joyously forward. It tore Ingvar and the Isle of IKEA from the map and swallowed a good chunk of the sea, then stormed on towards Fandom--

--and struck the forcefield again as it flickered back into existence.

Not bad work for a small field of energy, sure, but anyone who'd been standing around the shores of the island at the time of failing might have judged otherwise.

Well. If they were still around to judge anything.

All the while, more human-shaped Auditors came into being on the island, bickering and examining. And if maybe sometimes, they accidentally wrote another sentient being out of existence, well, that kind of thing happened, didn't it?
