Of course Shunsui would like to pretend to be a responsible adult in overseeing everything and trying to be a good influence. But as evidenced by the sake he was tipping from his usual jug into his cup of punch, it was clear that he wasn't trying too hard.

He had, however, tucked a few maple leaves in with the flower barrettes in his hair, to be a little more decorated for the occasion.

A Lannister always paid his debts, and he never missed a good feast. Tyrion was there in his best tunic and jerkin, sipping idly at the too-sweet punch as he watched the students swirl around the room, playing -- or so it seemed -- at being lords and ladies.

Zoe felt a lot better after dunking Jamie yesterday, so she was in a good mood at the dance. At least, she was for the moment, since no one was drunk or fighting or causing trouble. She didn't expect trouble, but she was keeping an eye out anyway.

Anakin found his way to the spot for chaperones, feeling absolutely ancient as he did so. All these damn kids with their music...

He shook his head, took a sip from his cup to check for alcohol levels, and glanced around for older, familiar faces.

"I am six weeks and one semester from graduating," she replied. "And in the process of interviewing for a real job. So I think the best word at the moment is great."

"I know. For little things like real pay and a real title besides just gopher." Or Hell on Heels as some of the wait staff like to call her when things got out of control. "Thanks to the internship UNLV required, I've pretty much had a similar job for the last two years. This would just make it official."

"Speaking of Rory, how's she doing? And how's the baby? Although I guess she's not so much of a baby these days is she?"
