Arrive, find a seat, and talk before the show.

"You gotta be kiddin' me," Kelli said as she entered the auditorium with Luke. Both of her arms were wrapped around one of Luke's, ensuring that he couldn't skip off and leave her alone like he had done this afternoon and to indicate to everybody just who she was with. He had struggled to get out of her grip a few times but she had supernatural strength working for her. "I can't believe you brought me to a talent show recital thing. This is so Saved by the Bell."

What? Monsters watched TBS in the mornings too.

"You're much more well behaved when we're in public," Luke said as his excuse as to why they had showed up to this in the first place. He wasn't much for this whole recital thing, but it was better than being alone with Kelli. "Just sit down."

Kelli gave Luke a glare but took a seat, pulling him down beside her. "Fine, but these mortal kariolis' better not suck."

True, Nico was horrified by Luke's version of a 'guest,' but that didn't stop him from stalking them like a creeper. From two rows back.

Look, he thought he could blend in with the crowd.

Jaime found himself a seat right beside the isle, his sword lay across his knees as he glanced around. He was curious to see what sort of performances Tyrion's students would come up with.

"Did I miss anything?" Tyrion asked, feeling especially conscious of his waddle as he slid into the seat beside his brother a few minutes into the show. "Parents ... or foster figures, anyhow ... actually wanted to speak with me."

"Only if you had a desire to hear your students strangling cats in what I assume was an attempt at music," Jaime said dryly.

To be fair, their voices had been alright but Jaime had no idea what to make of the music they had been trying to fulfil. "I hope you did not teach them that."

"I forgot to warn you about the music here," Tyrion said with a wince. "It's shit. You may want to stuff your handkerchief in the ear to guard against any more singing."

"Yes, a warning would have been nice there," Jaime agreed, he was making a face at the girl that was currently on stage. "Is she having a seizure?"

No, Jaime didn't recognise acting.

Tyrion watched her for a moment, then decided: "No. I think she's reciting something. Like a ballad without music. They do that here."

As she finished, he clapped politely, but added in a low voice, "Rather dreadful at it, isn't she?"

Jaime didn't do clapping politely.

"I hope that wasn't a student of yours," Jaime agreed, making a face as they were announcing yet another song. "Did I wrong you, Tyrion? Surely there is a reason you think I deserve this torture."

"Thankfully, no," Tyrion said, making a face. "You know ... no one would notice if we headed out quietly the next time everyone applauds."

It was still Bo's night at Devil's Nest!

"Now that's the best idea you have had so far," Jaime was already shifting his sword, getting ready to flee once this girl finished her... singing. Sigh.

Yeah, Tyler was sitting in an auditorium at a performance recital. It was kind of freaking him out that Caroline was involved in this and not some massive party where he could get a drink and maybe pick a fight with Jake's guest. But see, he was being good and patient or something.

Saying that Jake was tense was a huge understatement and for once it didn't have to do with Caroline's guest. Okay, it did, since technically he hadn't been the one to invite Sam, but there he was on the other side of the room. At least he was giving them space, but his presence was enough of a message.

It was like some great fucking doom hanging over his head and Jake's foot was tapping against the floor. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap.

It didn't look like he was going to be stopping that any time soon.
