About halfway through the day today, an owl landed on Hermione's desk with a letter. There was a bit of mild embarrassment as this was not exactly what you wanted your second week of work, but she took the letter, at least. And then the owl proceeded to try and drink from her coffee cup, which probably wasn't great for it, and then it managed to knock the cup over...
Don't mind Hermione. She'd just be over here, cleaning up spills and trying to shoo away an owl. This had to happen every day to someone, right?
