Fast Eddie's, Monday after classes
Okay, for anyone who knew Bruce - who really knew Bruce rather than the friendly facade he put on - the fact that he tried to convince somebody to take a couple hours having fun probably sounded ridiculous and insane. Until maybe they found out he was talking to a girl and that he was referring to spending time with him. That probably sounded more like Bruce.
But that was why he was at Fast Eddie's this afternoon, taking practice shots at a pool table while he waited. He hadn't actually played pool in a while, so he figured he'd shake off any potential rust first. Not that there was much rust, since pool was nothing but geometry, physics, and hitting things with a stick, which were all things Bruce used in his daily life even without playing pool anyway.
He wasn't trying any trick shots, though. That would be showing off.
