Maia sat on the step to Aziraphales shop, she had a key he had given her months ago but she didn't use it. Using the key to enter his shop would really mean the call was real He was leaving. Maia swallowed hard, A white feather was in her lap from his wing, she ran her hand along it not wanting to believe this was really happening ( Read more... )

He'd nearly worn himself out with his tirade of profanity which in no way resembled a temper tantrum, and then waited until a decent hour before stalking toward the Shop to say...whatever it was he was going to say.

Smoking hard, the cigarettes met their end in three strong drags, each one falling to the ground.

And then he saw her. Just what he needed...someone to unleash on.

"Hello, precious...come to say bon voyage as well?"

Maia looked up slowly from the feather she was holding. "Yes." She said in a hoarse whisper. "He left a message for me." Maia brushed away a stray tear.

"Of course he did, dear. There, there...let's don't weep."

He steps closer and seems a bit awkward as he puts his hand on her back, patting her softly.

Maia seemed suddenly struck with an idea. "Make him stay Crowley. Your his best friend, you can tell him to stay." Maia wiped her tears away and looked up at him hopefully.

Kiki wasn't sure she wanted to talk - not to anyone, not even Mr. Crowley, except Mr. Aziraphale. She changed her direction, plummeting down and landing instead on the roof, and she realized that Crowley and Maia had received the same call. Either someone was playing a very thorough joke - or this was true, and really happening.

Kiki dropped to her knees beside the chimney, pressing her cheek into the rough brick, and sobbed. Clutching at the familiar weight of the skeleton key around her neck, she found it cold, hard comfort.

As he walks to the front of the shop to open, Aziraphale spots the little collection of people outside. Shaking his head, he opens the door and looks at them.

"Two of you have keys, I believe. And one of you has never used a key in his life. Do come in."

[ooc: Opened a shop post, thought it would be easier that way. Do come in. :)]
