Ben was being nice and not telling Tony this was his second run of the day. The guy was feeling out of shape enough as it was.

"If you bend over a bit, it might help," Ben offered. Helpfully.

BECAUSE BEN WAS A WEIRDO. AN IN SHAPE WEIRDO.

"I'm good!" Tony insisted, possibly bending forward just a tiny bit.

"Sure you are," Ben said reassuringly.

It should be noted Ben wasn't really even breathing hard. The bastard.

"You and Mr. Rogers," Tony whined. "Is this some weird blond thing?"

"What, being able to run a hundred feet without getting winded?" Ben snickered. "Ender can do it too."

Tony just groaned in response. "You're all weird."

"Maybe we just get chased more often," Ben said with a grin.

"...true." That would change soon enough. Now that he was breathing normally again, Tony was going to give more than a passing thought to that strange turtle by the bushes staring at them. "This place has the weirdest animals."

Ben looked at the turtle...thing. "Is that what happens when the ducks get really adventurous with turtles?" he asked in an undertone. "Because ew."

"I've never seen one before," Ben said. "Maybe it's lost?"

Tony gave that some thought as it slowly made it's way closer. "We could take it to the pet shop or something maybe?" That would so work.

"That sounds like a good idea," Ben said. It was a duck/turtle! How scary could it be, really? Neither of those animals even had teeth!

Just to be on the safe side, Tony picked up a nice stick to give it a prod with. Because he wasn't carrying his suit around with him, you know.

"Think it's like the squirrels maybe?" Tony asked, giving it a prod. As soon as the stick touched it, Tony jerked back as if electrocuted and promptly disappeared from sight.
