So, she was wandering with a plate that only held a few pieces of fruit and carrying a glass of juice when she almost walked by the table.
However, she stopped to smile, instead. "Ender?"

And it also meant he could find something cold to drink and stick it right on his eye while he jerked his hood up and tried to be inconspicuous or something.
Sure, he'd picked up on the fact that something weird was going on but that didn't make what he'd seen or heard suck any less. He just wasn't holding such a grudge anymore. His eye and head hurt too much for that.
