It's time to say goodbye to Fandom for a week! Check your bags to make sure you brought everything, talk to each other, get psyched that you're gonna be leaving the cold!

Sadly, 'getting psyched' wasn't really in Ender's line today. He'd packed - a quick rehaul of his pack for his recent trip home - and he was ready, but his conversation with Peter still rested heavy on his mind.

He did his best to look neutral; mostly he strayed near the edges of the crowd, not particularly looking for attention.

Bobby was actually bouncing from one portal right to another, as it happened. He looked around with relief as the portal from New York dropped him off right amidst the group waiting for the one to Hawaii.

He may have been among the minority in that he wasn't psyched to leave the cold, exactly, but he couldn't complain about a week off school. More importantly, it was a week off school not spent in New York and all the issues inherent in that.

And though his manner may have been somewhat subdued (for Bobby), his loud patterned shirt and the ridiculous pair of blue-tinted sunglasses he wore were anything but.

"Oh, and here I was thinking you were gonna miss this trip entirely," his equally a little bit subdued (but hiding it) roommate teased, sidling up to him. "That would've been embarrassing."
