Genesis would not deny that he was restless, not today. But it was a controlled restless that lent itself well to his inspecting the theatre, dropping more accounting work on Warren’s desk (he’d found more! Somewhere! Warren was going to be delighted with him) , and making a few phone calls to insure that things proceed apace in… other matters.

Now that her mun had the tag tracked things had calmed down a bit, Momoko was once again setting herself up in the back rows.

Of course this time she was wearing an 'official' Rhapsodos-sama fan-club button and was busy affixing a sign to the seat beside her that said 'reserved for fan-club members'.

Not that there were any besides her, but that was a technicality.

It was peculiar, perhaps, but Genesis was not entirely surprised when he discovered what Miss Akatsutsumi was doing.

He'd experience with fans, after all.

"Miss Momoko," he said, his voice somewhere along the lines of 'mildly amused'. "What are you doing?"

HE'D REMEMBERED HER NAME! After so long? See, he was perfect!

Momoko froze for a moment, then turned with a grin and a salute. "Good Morning Director Rhapsodos! I'm just making sure that people know what section of the theater they are supposed to sit in when they come to watch you in rehearsals!"

Well, he mused, with a faint smile, she was startlingly honest.

"Oh?" he asked, arching an eyebrow at the sign. "I was not aware that there was call for that."

"I know. I can't believe no one signed up for the club! It had to be my bad advertising." That's why she was wearing the button! "I'm sure once people start showing up here, we'll get more members." She frowned and looked back at the sign. Maybe she'd need to reserve more chairs?

"Too many observers," he said, "would ruin the concentration of those practising."

Ah. And a bad actor would make a bad play and a bad play would make people think Rhapsodos-sama was a bad director!

Which was utter nonsense, but people were silly about cause and effect.

"Right! New Rhapsodos-sama Club Rule Number Three! 'Club members must guard rehearsals and protect Rhapsodos-sama's play at all costs'!" Momoko nodded, folding her arms. "'Even if that means we have to miss seeing Rhapsodos-sama himself'."

"Dare I ask was rules number one and two are?" he murmured, amused despite himself.

Momoko shrugged. "Rule number one is simply that no one is allowed to visit you at home or bother you. Rule number two lists the different ways club members must address you."

"And you lead this club?" Genesis mused, the glimmer of a thought occurring to him.

"Of course!" She gave him a V sign. "Founder and president, as well as the number one active member!"

Of course.

"Tell me," he murmured, "do you plan to be here for every rehearsal?"

Momoko nodded. "Of course!"

Unless there was an invasion, of course. Or...

"That's okay, right? If it's going to bother you, I won't!" Rule number one, you see.

He waved that idea off.

"If it had bothered me, I would have asked you to cease your efforts during the last production."

Truly, he did not mind the fanclub.

She beamed at him. It was too much to do a cheer, right? "I promise to keep out of the way this time, too!" Just watching him work was enough.
