Town hall
Tex watched through the window as her clone troopers patrolled outside. They'd met very little resistance last night and the town seemed to have settled down. This was much better, even if they still were without a mayor. She remembered talking to Red in this very same office and telling him there wasn't any money in the world that could convince her to do the paperwork. Now there were posters out there to get her elected. This was beyond FUBAR.
The door opened and Commander Appo entered the office. "The town is secure, Tex. I spoke to Gladys and they will draw up the ballots for elections."
"Good," Tex turned away from the window and handed Appo one of Quark's posters. "Under no circumstances let this man come anywhere near town hall."
"Understood, Tex." Appo took the poster and with a short salute left Tex alone again.
When she looked out of the window again, there was a duck sitting on the other side of the street.
