Even though it was daytime, the "dolphins in space" theme had been carried over to the brunch. There was free food. Of course Kyle was at the brunch! He was being very careful to balance his food types and his plate so it was easy to carry without toppling one way or another. He was also making a mental note of what to come back for when he was done with this plate, ranking the foods in order of importance.

All-you-can-eat was like the demigod call to arms. Nico enjoyed perusing the many Fandomy choices to find exactly what it was he was hungry for this morning.

Especially since he was alive, unlike some crabby girls with too much hair.

Buffet was Luke's favorite word ever, brunch maybe being a close second. Luke piled a plate high of what looked mostly to be bacon and was trying shove whatever else he could on there, even though he knew he'd be back for seconds.

Yeah, he didn't know why he wasn't fat either.

Although parts of the weekend had been awkward, Jason was pretty content with things at the moment. The fact that he was once again standing in front of a table of free food might have helped a lot.

Jason turned and laughed, looking a little embarrassed. "Nah, I don't want to look like I'm gloating about being more awesome than everyone else," he said. "Did you have fun at the dance?"

"So it's okay if you think you are just as long as you don't gloat about it?" he checked, teasing just a little. His grin broadened as he nodded. "I had a great time! I didn't know dances were so much fun. Did you?"

"Everything I know about school dances, I learned from TV. So no, I didn't think they were as cool as last night was," Jason said. "Tell me you danced with at least one girl?"

Bobby shrugged a little sheepishly. "Rosalind said she'd go with me as a friend? So I didn't want to make her mad and ask her if I wasn't supposed to." He considered for a minute. "Do you think she wanted me to ask her?"

"I think she probably wanted you to ask her to dance, yeah," Jason said. "I mean, you can dance with friends, and it doesn't have to be a big deal."
