Genesis had spent the last few days brooding, as he tended to do when left alone, and sulking about missing Angeal. (Not that he'd admit it out-loud, but he would wager half his paycheck that Angeal knew exactly what he was doing.)

Today, however, he had something else to do.

Claudia was in the catwalks. Exploring and taking notes. And probably having far too much fun with it all.

"I have no objection to your being up there," Genesis called. "But kindly resist the temptation to fall."

He'd hate to have to explain that one to the Turk.

That was also his way of saying 'be careful'.

Alexander had to admit, he was a little relieved to see his big sister there, looking like she knew what she was doing. "Claudia!" he said, lifting a hand in a wave. "Are you helping behind the scenes as well?"

"Hey, Alexander! Yeah, I'm on lighting detail. You?"

"Anything I can help with," Alexander said with a faint smile. "Mostly scenery, though, I think. I tried for the acting, but the result was pretty abysmal. I'm more suited to physical labor, anyway."

"I'm impressed. I didn't even try out for a part. Me, in front of all those people? No thank you. You ever do this kind of thing, before?"

"Not at all!" Alexander admitted with a laugh. "But it's quite exciting! And you'll have to forgive me if I start to follow you around a bit, since you appear to know much more what you're doing. Have you done something like this before, yourself?"

"Worked with electronics, yes. Just . . . not like this. I've been doing a lot of reading.'

"Hmmm," Alexander nodded, looking thoughtful. "That's not too bad of a tactic. After all, I've seen how many books there are in our great library, there's sure to be some on scenery and settings as well."

"Plus there's loads of stuff online. That's where I've mostly been looking."

"Online?" Alexander asked cautiously. "That's the thing on the computer, correct?"

"On several computers, yeah. But you only need one to get to it."

"I am still feeling uncertain about those machines," Alexander admitted a little sheepishly. "I am only now just getting used to navigating with a cell phone, though I have become quite adept with a television."
