Pixie Dust; Tuesday [ 09/14 ].
Ariel had a little friend with her at work today; she felt bad just leaving the bird she'd found in Ms. Pitt's office alone by itself. She had been a little concerned, since it wasn't a talking bird like Scuttle, but she wound up being very impressed with how well behaved it was. So then she could put her worries into how she couldn't seem to get a hold of Ms. Pitt, even after countless texts and voice messages.
"Oh, we'll figure it out soon, won't we, little bird?" she said. "Want some more crackers? We'll get you more crackers."
Which meant crushing up a bunch of crackers, having way too much fun doing so, and probably leaving far too many crumbs on any clothes that might be close enough to suffer. Oh, well.
