Clark wasn't exactly working at the bar so much as stopping by to see how his good friend Tino was. Maybe have a coke and see if he couldn't tune in some preseason football for his trouble.

It was good being in a town where he didn't get interrupted twice a quarter to rescue someone who'd been buried alive.

Wild horses couldn't keep Drake from the stage tonight. First up was a visit to the 80s.

Drake ambled up to the stage with Kennedy. "All right, zombies, let's give this one all you got," he said.

"There's nothing you can do that can't be done.
Nothing you can sing that can't be sung.
Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game.
It's easy."

He gestured to Kennedy. "Hit it, K!"

Kennedy shot him a look of mild protest at the nickname but, gamely, picked up the next verse. She really wasn't a good singer: on pitch, but without any musical quality to her voice to speak of. It didn't stop her from getting as into this as a girl whose musical speed really didn't run at the velocity of the Fab Four could be, although her expression was somewhat wry.

Drake, on the other hand, was an excellent singer. "C'mon, sing it with me," he said.

She was totally singing along! There was plenty of attitude to make up for the lack of musical ability, anyway. What? It'd worked for plenty of famous acts.

Kennedy even did a little shimmy along with the words, and stuck a hand out to high-five Drake.

Drake was jealous of the shimmy. It was better than his own. He traded the high-five with Kennedy, and continued with the song.

Because Kennedy was awesome, that was why. Or that was her version of the story, anyway.

"Lucky for you," Kennedy told him, sticking both hands up in the air in a gesture that is best described as \o/ with fists clenched, all rock-star-like. "'cause that would not have been the fun kind of hitting you, one more time or otherwise."

She glanced back at the zombies.

"...and you're a little too cool to have to do that to."

Kennedy's jaw dropped, and her mouth worked silently for a few seconds while she gestured, vaguely.

"Oh. Oh, hell, no," she finally got out, laughing.
