The Perk; Wednesday Afternoon

Chuck hadn't slept at all last night and found himself in desperate need for caffeine. The trouble with having no classes was that he had a hard time keeping track of what day it was and therefore completely forgot it was Wednesday. Which meant he completely forgot that today was when he usually visited Sam in the library. He'd remember eventually and feel like crap for it later.

The barista gave Chuck a look when he asked for a latte with room for liquor, but he didn't much care. He took a seat by the window and tried to zone out. It was almost like sleeping, right?
