Triela was out in the streets once again. And she was still quite pissed at the fog. How was she supposed to shoot things with visibility so poor?

Her scowl was hidden underneath her mask, and she kept her weapon at the ready. It wouldn't do be caught unprepared, especially since anything she encountered was likely to be at close range.

She also kept her eye out for other students or adults from the island. It wouldn't do to shoot one of them, either.

After the morning's craziness, Jak...

... was still out on the streets. With his blaster gun, and the red laser scope attached. It cut a figure against the fog, that was for sure. Sneaking.

Triela stopped walking suddenly and cocked her head. She thought she heard a footstep.

Was that... a spotting laser?

... Was there something there?

"If you're human, let me know," he snapped.

"Mostly human," Triela called back.

"You alone?"

"Yeah," Jak called out, struggling towards her location. "Double team it? If you can keep up."

"If I can keep up?" she scoffed, hefting her shotgun in her hands. "I don't think I'll have any trouble with that."

But had been alert enough to notice her, so he probably wouldn't slow her down.

"Whatever, just don't get in my way," Jak said. Affably. For him.

He finally got close enough to spot her. "Last contact?"

"Five minutes ago. West of here. Just a couple of those over-sized lizard things." She cocked her head. "You?"

"Seven. Monkey-ponies. Three of them," Jak said, jerking his head towards the left. "I'm not picking up anything right now."

That sounded interesting. "You've got some sort of sense for them?" Triela asked. Maybe he wouldn't be a bad companion after all?

"No," Jak said, taking the moment to shove more Vulcan bullets into his gun. "But I've got big ears."

[sorella_vecchia]

Triela snorted. "Point."

"Which way do you want to head, then?" As she asked she was already beginning to walk down the street.

"Town seems a good call."

As he said when he was already following her.

"Avoid groups." While he was out of dark eco, anyway.

"More efficient to pick them off separately."

Her high heels made a lot more noise than she was happy with as she strode forward. She paused to shoot them a scowl at her boots.

Jak stopped as well. Because she'd stoppped.

He followed the line of her vision. "...Maybe you can break those off."
