The Perk- Wednesday afternoon
It wasn't that Jaye had planned to be in Fandom today. It was just that... Okay, see, there'd been this guy, and then this stupid reindeer someone had left up since Christmas like it wasn't almost February, and long story short, she'd been told to 'tail his ass' and that had led to her engaging him in a mini car chase that he probably didn't know about... right until a light came on on her dashboard and her car died roughly four seconds later. Her car was stuck here for repairs and Jaye had given up on following the guy, so she decided since she was close enough anyway, she might as well just hang out here until it was time to catch the portal she'd paid way too much for on short notice.
That wasn't a very short story, was it? Hm.
Anyway, Jaye was sitting at a window table at the Perk with coffee, trying not to look too interested when she heard anyone inside talking about gremlins. She had the impression she missed something, and she always missed the good stuff.
[I am a genius who came home sick and took a NyQuil, and then remembered the gas guy is coming today, and I should probably be conscious when there's a dude in my home. So guess what, game, you get to keep me awake! Totally open.]
