Harper got comfortable as she waited, or at least tried to get comfortable. It just worked best if she stood on one foot and kept her weight off the bad one.

Jack emerged shortly, dragging a slightly bedraggled crutch awkwardly under one arm. He shook his head as he offered it to Harper. "I'm not sure how new this is...."

"I'm glad it's over, too. I thought I could relax with all the costumes done early, and then I had to rip up and re-do them for the casting changes," said Harper. "I'll do costumes for Geoffrey again, though. We don't always agree but it's a good experience for me. Not sure if I still want to act, though."
