One of these days, Wexler. One of these days, she'd learn that her preferred diet of a lot of candy and sugary cereals and sugar with coffee and cream lead to toothaches, and therefor should be best avoided but, obviously, this week had not been that week of revelation. Thankfully, by the time Friday rolled around, it wasn't as painful as it had been on Monday, with only residual soreness and a painful jolt of a reminder when she forgot about the toothache and did something like bite into an apple or just jostle it the wrong way that sent her, after a yelp of surprise, groaning in pain.
But she was going to stick through it! It was Friday, so she didn't figure there'd be many clients coming through the offices, so she could try to focus on her work instead of her dentistry and hopefully not have to talk to anyone because even with the sparing amount of Gum Numb she was using, her speech was going to be a little slurred.
But no one could accuse her for a lack of dedication to the job. She just hoped it cleared up before radio, because that was usual a ton of talking...
