Today, when not researching cases, Alex was going to try to determine whether or not she was actually licensed to practice law in Fandom. She'd passed the bar for the State of New York. Virginia allowed members of the bar from other states to practice, in limited capacity, but Maryland didn't. Fandom itself was another jurisdiction entirely.
Maybe Fandom allowed admission on motion for anyone qualified to practice law in his or her home dimension? Obscure legal trivia intrigued her. Hence the choice of career.
