Aphrodite had seen a sign for a dance. A dance there was. Aphrodite was now at the dance.

She'd have felt more comfortable if she'd been carried in on her litter, but the goddess of love Jackie Blue, was ready to party.

And look! She'd found the cute guys! That put a little extra sway in her step as she headed in to find a drink.

The woman was clearly an adult, but she was just beautiful. Romeo had to go over to say hello.

"Excuse me," he began. "I'm on my way to get more punch. Could I get you anything?"

He was handsome, but obviously young. It would be so easy to wrap him up and take him home.

But wrong. Very wrong.

Still, it wouldn't hurt to play. Would it? And he had offered first.

"Why a cup of punch would be wonderful, thank you." She gave him a sultry smile. "What would a handsome thing like you be doing here all by yourself?"

"Oh, Romeo." She looked him up and down for a moment. "It suits you." Then she rolled her eyes. "My name is Jackie Blue. Don't ask." She was going to kill Cupid for that.

Her smile grew larger again as she looked at him. "But you're so sweet, you make me feel like the goddess of love." Wink

"Which one is your girlfriend, Romeo? And is her name as appropriate as yours?"

"You're as lovely as such a goddess would have to be, and I say that as simple truth as I would not be false to her," Romeo said. And, indeed, his face brightened as he pointed Yurika out in the crowd. "She's called Yurika Dojima. The first name means lily, and she'd tell you such a modest flower was a poor choice for her to be named after."

Aphrodite's eyebrow rose as she watched the girl in the crowd. "Very nice, Mr. Montague. Very nice indeed. And a lovely flower she is."

A beautiful couple. And there was love in his voice. It was much too much to resist.

'Dite slipped an arm around the young man's shoulders. "I think, sweetie, that I'll get my own drink after all. Because I really don't think you and she should spend anymore time apart." She kissed his cheek, leaving the outline of a golden heart that slowly disappeared. She saw his eyes flash pink, and smiled.

"Go get her, Tiger."

"Of course." Romeo felt muddled, like he'd been swaddled in a rose-scented cloud. It was far from unpleasant, and he grinned as he wandered off to find Yuirka.

Max was fashionably tardy, thank you very much. He'd even dressed up. Even if it was a very Aleran dressed up. Heavy silk robes which managed to drape all over him without disguising just how big he was.

He wasn't a huge fan of the things, they were a pain to get on and off after all, but he figured he could put up with them every once in a while, at least.

Sometimes, like tonight, Harry remembered not to be a hermit. Ready to dance, or stand awkwardly by the food. The latter was more likely.
