While the students had been completing their last finals, an NPC staff had been hard at work converting one of the empty warehouses into the site of tonight's dance. Ronan's first stop, practically, was to the dance floor, and while he was mostly dancing on his own, he certainly wouldn't object to a partner.

Emma waited until there was a change in the music before sidling up to one of the few people on the dance floor that she knew. "Mr. Nolan," she drawled, looking him over. "May I have this dance?"

Ronan returned the look, up and down Emma's form once; he smiled, and extended a hand to her. "Why, of course, Ms. Frost," he replied. "It would be my pleasure."

"Are we having fun yet this evening?" she asked, taking his hand and drawing closer. "Do they throw such excellent parties regularly, or have I gotten lucky for my first dance?"

Step, step, twirl, dip; Ronan hoped it was no issue if he took the lead. "Most dances are rather well put-together, yes," he said. "There was a lock-in party for the graduating class that was... interesting. The decorations came to life and attacked us. That's surprisingly rare, though, for the parties on the island."

Emma liked it when boys took the lead; it gave her a chance to relax. "The decorations came to life?" she echoed, giving him a skeptical smirk. "It's not nice to have one over on the new girl, Mr. Nolan. I keep hearing all these tales of gremlins and dragons and zombies, and have yet to see a thing."

"I swear, I'm not pulling one, Ms. Frost," Ronan insisted. "The zombies and gremlins are real enough, and more'n one world has their dragons, or so I've seen. I've avoided the gremlins myself, thank the Powers, but I've seen their effects, that you can trust."

He hit the center of the dance floor like a mofo. His choreography was... very... very creative.

Johnny led Savannah out on the dance floor and pulled her in close. A slow song was playing which was perfect just now. She could get a little wild and dance around him if a fast one came up next.

For now? He was going to hold her close.

Savannah was happy to be close to him as the music played. She always loved slow dancing with Johnny. She closed her eyes for a moment, just leaning against him.

His arms were around her waist, moving slowly with the lazy beats of the music. Johnny wanted to never let her go.
