It would be very silly indeed to go to fight club and not fight! So Minsc was looking around, trying to find someone who might be up for a very promisingly rough brawl.

Worf watched Minsc for a bit. He had heard of his batches with a warrior named "Boo" on the radio. Perhaps this Minsc would be up for a bout.

"Sir," Worf said respectfully approaching the teacher. "Are you looking for a match?"

Ah-ha! A contender appears! Minsc grinned wildly, happily, punching a fist into his palm and letting all the various bones, broken numerous times, crack back into place. "I'd wonder," he declared, "what in the nine hells I'd be doing in fight club if I wasn't, good sir!"

"Very well," Worf replied with short nod. "Then let us begin."

Worf took his place on the sparring mats and waited for Minsc to join him.

"Okay, then," Minsc nodded, taking a second to make sure that his hamster was safe, before going out to the mats as well.

And wasting absolutely no time in sending a good starter punch toward the other fellow's face. After all, it was established that they'd be fighting, so what more needed to be said? Actually, they were both here so Minsc was of the opinion that they'd already said too much.

The punch hit snapping Worf's head back. Worf let out a small growl and a sneer before returning another punch of his own to Minsc's head.

A very good start! Minsc rather liked a good knocking on the head, letting the punch collide and thunk against his skull a little. He shook his head a bit, but spared no delay in bring up his elbow to crash it down on top of the other fellow's head. He didn't know whether or not all those ridges would provide a significant natural defense, but he felt there was only one way to really find out.

The elbow hit, making Worf growl even more as he staggered for just a second. Oh, yes. This should be fun.

Feinting with right jab, Worf spun, aiming a kick towards Minsc's mid-section.

Even without the feint to throw him off, Minsc would have taken the kick to the gut. The being hit parts were the best parts of a fight! Minsc grunted, curving around the hit, which put him in a good position to retaliate, one gut strike for another, his fist rushing out toward the fellow's mid-section.

Worf grunted as he took the hit and let out a laugh of something between rage and joy. He clasped both hands together and swung away at Minsc's head.

With a grumbled sound of similar nature, Minsc took the blow to the head with a sort of brain-jostling eagerness. There was a lot of strength in this guy! Minsc could feel that and respected that. He could also return it, throwing in a nice right-left-right toward his face that seemed to nicely match the rhythm of pain beating in his brain.

Now it was just a matter of honor to Worf to give back as good as he was getting.

Blocking of blows? Not going to happen.

Shaking off the punches Worf returned with a solid punch to the head and then a spin kick to Minsc's knee.

Blocking shots were for pansies and little girls! A fight was not a fight unless it was incredibly, delightfully painful! And Minsc was definitely getting a fight here. Grinning madly, he almost bit his tongue on the clock to the head and his knee went down after Worf's foot had smashed into it. Knee went down, and so did Minsc, kneeling down and throwing back his head, just so he could throw it forward as quick and hard as he could into Worf's gut.

He liked how the pain of all that bounced happily from head, down to knee, and back to head again!

Worf let out an "ooooof" type sound as he exhaled...

And the promptly smashed his fists down towards Minsc's head.

The fists against his head might have made Minsc crumple a little if he didn't seem to, for that moment after contact where some sound rang in his ears, pause. A moment, as if there was so much going on that pain needed a second to catch up. And then there it was, and Minsc grunted, made a displeased face and reached down for Worf's ankles to pull them forward and upend him.
