"Welcome back to Fight Club," Tyler began. "You've been put through drills, labeled, and classified in neat little boxes for us to play with. If that pisses you off ... it should. But it's how this works

Of course, every day was a marvelous day for a fight for Minsc! He was easy to please like that, cracking both his knuckles and his muscles before going to see someone out.
After the ride that morning, Arthur felt in... something of a shape to at least go to Fight Club. So he was there, but lurking near the back, thoughtful.

Oh, hey, it was the cute cop. "So... is this whole... thing" -- Jack gestured around -- "officially approved of, then? Or are you off-duty?" He smiled at her. "By the way -- I'm still not Gibbs."
"Oh, shush," said Daisy. "There were mutant alligators everywhere; it was an honest mistake. And definitely off-duty when I'm here. And not even the 'off-duty' where I just tell everyone I'm off-duty when really I'm not."

"So long as it's all consensual," said Daisy, "I can assure you of no trouble from at least this officer. Although, really, if it is an issue, I'm going to be in an awful lot of trouble with my boss."
Daisy nodded. "If I ever need to run any secret ops, you can bet I'm getting a crate of rum and hiring them on. Plus, I transcript all the weekend broadcasts for the station's files."
And, no, the idea of leaving out any potentially incriminating bits didn't even occur to Daisy.

There was a very self-conscious pause there, knowing she probably sounded crazy, but, really, she should be used to that by now, so she continued.
"They're pirate squirrels. Thankfully without all the looting and razing and raping, otherwise I'd never have a moment of peace."
