Tim had been in an interesting mood for a few days, and had stayed in as a result. But he just couldn't stay cooped up all the time or he'd go stir crazy.
So he decided to go for a walk. He wandered by the gig, and tried not to wonder if it was divine providence that had him spot Gwynn.
Damn, he'd really missed her. He even still had the pendant she'd given him.
"Morning." Tim smiled. The smile came easily and readily. He forgot for a moment to be embarrassed at thinking how good she looked in riding clothes. Ah, the accent still got him too. "How've you been? Keeping out of trouble?"
"I've been good. Still trying to...get back into the swing of things around here I guess you could say." Ohhh, she was blushing. It looked good on her. He couldn't help a quick glance at some of the features he remembered most fondly, her lips, hands and legs.
"Since the beginning of summer when people graduated and started leaving the island. I did not want to return to Briton for the summer so I decided to look for a job. The horses were here and it was perfect."
