Tim had been in an interesting mood for a few days, and had stayed in as a result. But he just couldn't stay cooped up all the time or he'd go stir crazy.

So he decided to go for a walk. He wandered by the gig, and tried not to wonder if it was divine providence that had him spot Gwynn.

Damn, he'd really missed her. He even still had the pendant she'd given him.

When Gwynn spotted Tim outside the paddock, she rode Smudge over to the fence and then slid off of his back.

She had missed Tim and it was so good to see him back and around.

"Good morning, Tim."

"Morning." Tim smiled. The smile came easily and readily. He forgot for a moment to be embarrassed at thinking how good she looked in riding clothes. Ah, the accent still got him too. "How've you been? Keeping out of trouble?"

She walked closer and nodded. "Unfortunately, I have very much stayed out of trouble."

He held his ground and chuckled. "Unfortunately?" Closer was good. No wait, it probably wasn't. But it was nice.

She wasn't sure why she had said that or why she was blushing. Stupid island.

She did like being closer to Tim. It was nice.

"Uhm.. how have you been?"

Better than trying to answer the question and accidentally saying what she was thinking again, right?

"I've been good. Still trying to...get back into the swing of things around here I guess you could say." Ohhh, she was blushing. It looked good on her. He couldn't help a quick glance at some of the features he remembered most fondly, her lips, hands and legs.

"It's very nice to see you around here again, Tim," she said. "I've missed you."

She was also looking him over. She remembered how nice he felt when he hugged her.

She smiled when he did that. "Would you like to come in and meet the horses? I was just getting ready to... clean the barn."

"Yeah that sounds great." Tim agreed. "You like the job?" He offered his arm to her.

Gwynn slipped her arm in his and nodded as they walked.

"I do. I have a nice time working with horses again, and Miss Dani is a very good boss."

"Since the beginning of summer when people graduated and started leaving the island. I did not want to return to Briton for the summer so I decided to look for a job. The horses were here and it was perfect."

"Sounds like it." Tim nodded. "I'm sorry I missed most of our friends. But I'm glad you're here."
