"Are you deaf and stupid?" Ino asked scathingly. She didn't have to be a polite little minion here. "I said it'd be my pleasure--oh, sorry, were those words too hard for you to understand? It's so hard to tell considering how often you seem to need things repeated to you."

"And, by the way, attempting to beat me up will so not work in your continued idiocy to get a weapon of any sort from Cable-san. If you want to talk to him, he's right over there." He was kinda hard to miss.

"No, I'm not," he said, starting to get mad. His hearing was fine. "You wanna fight, let's fight. You wanna stand around and jaw all day, find someone else." He crossed his arms, all Serious Business.

She darted forward, faster than a normal girl, and launched a vicious kick at his knees.

Jack was more reaction than action sometimes. This was one of those times. He jumpstumbled back trying to avoid the kick and threw a punch at her head. It would be amazing if it actually connected.

It didn't. Ino could see it, and ducked down, darting past him with a punch aimed at his side and then twisted to kick the backs of his knees.

Hard. She wasn't really pulling her strength at all.

Jack flopped on his back and popped back up, grimacing, before launching a completely ludicrous kick at Ino.

He should really stick with punches. They were less embarrassing.

Vaguely.

"You're beyond pathetic," she said, and was seriously tempted to just nail him right where she doubted any guy would want her to kick them. (Except for that one time with Kabuto, but...)

The kick didn't connect, of course, and Ino smashed a kick of her own towards his face. Her kick was definitely not ludicrous.

"never," he said, slowly getting to his feet, shaking his head to clear it. "You had enough yet?" he asked, striking a boxing pose.

"You're a fucking idiot," she carolled, darting forward until she was right in front of him only to shift abruptly to the side, past him, and twist for a sharp kick aimed at his neck.
